A few weeks ago I published a video explaining the origin story of my current writing project, the young adult fiction I’m currently busy with. It struck me that I’d never told the stories of how I came to write my other books Each of them has a distinct origin story and I decided to share those in video format.
What started out as an idea to create just one video per book, and book series in the case of the Missy Mouse books, suddenly exploded into a plethora of creativity. So far, it has turned into a series of videos for each of my publications, which I’ll be sharing in the coming weeks, conveniently grouped together on my YouTube channel in a playlist called Behind the Scenes.

Incidentally, creating these videos also sparked several memories of mistakes I made as I travelled down the path of creating each book. Maybe these could also be of interest, both to those in my community who are keen to know more about my writing process, and also to those who may be considering putting pen to paper themselves
