A Temporary Break But I’ll Be Back

A dark-haired woman sitting on a blue couch, smiling, with a black dog at her side. The woman is wearing a sleeveless blue and white floral dress and has a watch on her left wrist. She is holding the guide dog’s harness. A pink blanket with brown spots is draped over the couch under her. The dog is large, sitting upright and looking forward. Behind them, there are decorative pillows, one with a pattern of dachshunds, and a wall with framed pictures and a floral wreath. There’s also a glimpse of a dining area in the background, with someone sitting at a table. The overall scene is warm and homely.

If you’ve been following the Beyond Sight blog for a while, you’re probably aware that I underwent a kidney transplant operation yesterday.

For obvious reasons, this means that it’ll be a fairly long recovery period for me and it’s unlikely that sitting at a desk working is going to be high on my list of fun activities for a bit.

I’m taking time off from the blog while I regain my strength.

I’ll be back as soon as I can, with more content related to my life, to disability, and to other great content I discover.

Till then, stay well and keep seeing the world differently
